Key West Schools

Key West and the neighboring Stock Island and Naval Air Station Key West are home to a number of public and private schools. The Key West public schools serve designated attendance areas but offer a school choice plan that allows parents to request a school outside their attendance area. Students are admitted to their schools of choice via a lottery system as space allows. Key West students also have the option of participating in a range of virtual school options including full- and part-time online study as well as individual school-based online courses.
